MembersIntroducing www.nicenet.org
For those already taking part in training programmes, we have organised some links to pages containing information that may be used on your course. This 'on-line' facility is provided by www.nicenet.org which is an Internet Classroom Assistant The ICA was first conceived as a web-based classroom environment that could be used by post-secondary teachers with their students. The system was designed not as a replacement for the classroom, but rather as a supplement allowing greater communication and sharing of information among students and between teachers and their students. Your trainers have set up accounts with www.nicenet.org where you will find additional support and a bank of training materials to aid you. Ask your trainer for your online password to access the site. Accounts are available for the following training groups:

What
else can we do with nicenet?
Your trainer will explain to you how to access the website training materials and make use of the training chat room facilities. This two-way link facility is intended to allow you to exchange information and questions with other people on your training course and also to allow you to ask your trainer questions over the Internet. Remember, of course, that you will need to agree a time and day for any on-line discussions. First2train documentation © 2007 273063
